If you use your computer on a regular basis, you've probably noticed that your keyboard can become pretty Vile after a while. With all of the dust, dirt and debris that can be floating around your work station (not to mention the food and drinks you may have spilled), it's no wonder that your keyboard can become a sticky, grimy mess! Not only can a dirty keyboard affect its functionality, but the germs and bacteria that accumulate can also pose a health risk. By Follow these , you'll have your keyboard looking like new in no time.
How to Start??
1) The first thing that you'll want to do before doing any cleaning is to make sure that your keyboard is detached from any electrical power source. That way you won't get shocked!
Turn your computer off.
Unplug your keyboard from the computer.
2)Many people clean the keyboard by turning it upside down and shaking. A more effective method is to use compressed air. Compressed air is pressurized air contained in a can with a very long nozzle. Simply aim the air between the keys and blow away all of the dust and debris that has gathered there. A vacuum cleaner can also be used, but make sure the keyboard doesn't have loose "pop off" keys that could possibly be sucked up by the vacuum.
or If u dont have any blower in ur home then try this
Remove Your Keys, you're going to have to remove your keys in order to get your keyboard completely clean. While this may sound like a complicated and difficult process, most people don't know that the keys on their keyboard actually pop off quite easily. Here's how:
Before removing any of the keys, make sure to jot down a diagram of the position of keys on the keyboard (or refer to the basic diagram). This way you will know exactly where they go when you're putting them back.
3)Use your cloth to do a final wipedown and cleaning.
Q If the keyboard has anything spilt into it (ie: pop, Pepsi, Coke, beer, wine, coffee, milk, etc.), Wat to do??
If anything is spilt onto the keyboard turn the computer off immediately. Once the computer is turned off, quickly flip the keyboard over helping to prevent the substance from penetrating circuits. While the keyboard is upside down, shake the keyboard over a surface you do not mind getting wet or that can be cleaned up later. While still upside down, use a cloth to help clean out what can be reached. After you you have cleaned the keyboard to the best of your ability leave the keyboard upside down for at least one night allowing it to dry.
